Actor Rahul Ravindran, who had earlier been a part of many movies like Andhala Rakshasi, Tiger and Srimanthudu is back on screen this time in the avatar of a director, joining hands with Akkineni hero Sushanth who's back on screen after a gap for Chi La sow. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Chi La sow review. Arjun (Sushanth) hates to get married and wants to be single all life, while his mother (Anu Haasan) wants to get him married, leading to the heroine Ruhani Sharma, who has been having a bad past with her failed previous matches. Now, the couple gets a romantic spark due to situations, but with Arjun's being single motto and Ruhani's bitter past, will the couple get married successfully is what Chi La sow is all about.

Star Performance

Sushanth is good in his character and has come a long way from his current, Kalidasu days. Ruhani Sharma is impressive on debut conveying minute emotions with her expressions. Vennela Kishore is back with a bang after a gap, as his comedy clicks big time, and he offers a laugh riot. The rest of the cast including Anu Haasan and Rahul Ramakrishna are adequate.

Techinical Team

Prashanth Vihari's background score is melting while of his songs, Mellaga Mellaga and Varshinche are hum-worthy. Cinematography by Sukumar is good, capturing the aesthetics perfectly. After acting in several movies without much success, Rahul Ravindran has donned the hat of a director for the first time with chi la sow, and he has opted to direct a simple, slice of life plot on debut. Rahul Ravindran has his casting perfect and has extracted good performance from Ruhani Sharma and Sushanth.

The former gets a meaty role, and even as the movie focuses on emotions, Rahul's penchant for humour is evident as he lets Vennela Kishore take centre stage in most scenes. The director has focused well on the plight of the Heroine's character and introduces good twists towards the interval. Even though the second half drags a bit and deviates,  Rahul makes up for it with the preclimax episode and a good ending. All said, with a simple plot, despite several drags and flaws, Chi La sow is a can watch.

Bottom Line:Simple feel good flick that deserves a watch.
