The popular dance choreographer turned Actor turned director Prabhudeva, billed as the Indian Michael Jackson, had taken a break from acting after he ventured into direction with films like Nuvvosthanande Nenoddantana, Pournami, Rowdy Rathore, Wanted, and several disastrous flicks like Villu, Action Jackson, and R Rajkumar.
Prabhudeva returned to Acting after a huge break, in 2016, with the AL Vijay directed horror comedy Devi / Abhinetri costarring Tamannaah, which turned out to be a hit, and the Kaadhalan actor, who was once called the most bankable small budget hero, decided to enter another innings of acting.
Following Devi, the actor decided to star in Gulaebhagavali, the namesake of a yesteryear MGR film, and the film, directed by Debutant Kalyan was a heist comedy-drama, that co-starred bubbly beauty Hansika Motwani, veteran actress Revathi and Comedians Munish Kanth, Yogi Babu and Anand Raj in prime roles.
Now, in the sequel to Devi, featuring Tamanna and Nandita Swetha as female leads, Hansika is also entering the movie. However, she will be just seen in a cameo role.
