The Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer latest blockbuster Bharat Ane Nenu had opened to positive reviews and responses, and the movie directed by Koratala Siva turned out to be his fourth consecutive success, and Mahesh Babu's career biggest blockbuster.
As the superstar was in dire straits, desperately in need of a hit post the twin disasters, Brahmotsavam and SPYder, he joined hands with his Srimanthudu maker Koratala Siva, to dish out the political entertainer, which went on to gross more than 205 crores worldwide and more than $3.5 mn at the US.
It's always been a known fact that Chennai has been one of the most profitable zones for Superstar Mahesh Babu always. In a similar fashion with Bharat Ane Nenu too, with a total share of 1.65 crores in 25 days, it has become the highest grosser for Mahesh in Chennai. It also became the highest grossing Telugu movie in Chennai, surpassing Baahubali 2.
