Recently, we all knew the massacre happened in Thoothukudi, as the peaceful protests had taken a horrible U-Turn, as cops turned violent and brutally shot dead 13 civilians, and leaving more than 50-60 more civilians badly injured.
In such a tense scenario prevailing in the city located down south of Tamilnadu, and with people all over Tamil Nadu burning with anger over the Tamilnadu government and its atrocities staged using cops, the magnum opus director Shankar, currently working on 2.0 and Indian 2, had posted about the IPL.
However, the tweet by the star director when the whole state was mourning the deaths of innocents did not go well with netizens who royally roasted the director in the comments section of his tweet, following which Shankar finally deleted the tweet, and respecting the feelings of the people, had posted another tweet expressing condolences for the deaths in Thoothukudi.
