Tovino Thomas has been one of the fastest rising stars of the Malayalam film industry, scoring hits like Godha, Ezra, Oru Mexican Aparatha, Guppi, Mayaanadhi to name a few. With a steady career in Malayalam, the actor had got himself ready for his Tamil entry as well.
Having grown up in Coimbatore, it was not a tough job for the actor to speak Tamil lines, and Tovino had made his first appearance in the Gautham Menon directed Music video Ulaviravu with Dhivyadharshini. His first Tamil release Abiyum Anuvum, co-starring the sexy babe Pia Bajpai was released last week, with low key promotions and zero hype.
The film directed by BR Vijayalakshmi has tanked badly that almost none had realized that such a film had released last week. With such a disastrous start to his tamil career, Tovino Thomas is looking forward to his villain act in Dhanush starrer Maari 2 and Ondraaga with Madhavan, directed by Gautham Menon.
