Young hero Karthi has been on a high, as his last 2 movies, the Cop thriller Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru directed by H Vinoth based on real incidents and his rural entertainer Kadaikutty Singam directed by Pandiraj have turned out to be commercially successful.
Next, the actor is all set to star in one of the biggest projects of his career, which will be made on a budget of more than 50 crores. Produced by Prince pictures, the movie is Karthi's 17th movie of his career. This movie, tentatively titled Dev, brings the Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru pair of Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh together for the Second time, and the team has headed to Ukraine for the first schedule
The team will shoot several crucial scenes and a sizzling hot song. Rakul Preet confessed that the same romance in 'Khakee' will be repeated again. Directed by debutant Rajath Ravishankar, the movie also stars Karthik, Prakashraj and Ramya Krishnan.
