After the Tollywood game changer blockbuster Arjun Reddy, hero Vijay Deverakonda returns on silver screen almost after a year, with Geetha Govindam costarring sandalwood babe Rashmika Mandanna, and directed by Parasuram who had last delivered Srirasth Subhamasthu. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Geetha Govindam first report.



The film begins with Govind (Vijay Deverakonda) narrating his love story to Nithya Menen who makes a surprise cameo, and he explains how he fell in love with Geetha (Rashmika Mandanna). Govind is a lecturer in a college and as he falls in love with Geetha, tries hard to woo her. Situations lead to misunderstandings, but somehow soon, Geetha also falls for him, but now its Govind's turn to reject marriage proposal with Geetha, What happened to the lead pair, and if they united or not is what Geetha Govindam is all about.



Vijay Deverakonda is impressive as the innocent faced lover boy, and Rashmika is top notch with  her beautiful performance. The chemistry between the lead pair is the lifeline of the movie, and Parasuram makes the best use of it while also presenting an engaging screenplay with the right proportion of love, sentiments and twists. Aided by Gopi Sunder's lovely music, Parasuram delivers a winner, and Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika strike gold again with Geetha Govindam.
