The Karnatkaa Elections is just taking new twists every now and then and going by the current situation, the Bharatiya Janata Party has clearly fallen short of a majority. Now, Congress has used this and it has reached out to JDS and it offers support from the outside.

Karnataka is the only southern state the BJP has ruled before it ceded power to the Congress last term.

The JDS is happy to have the support. The counting took place for 222 constituencies of the 224-seat Assembly and a party needs 112 seats to get a majority to form the government. The Congress failed to get a good vote share and on another hand, BJP has improved the vote share since 2013.

Now, a deal will be struck with congress and JDS will be the King or the Kingmaker! However, the counting goes on and still we don't get a clear picture yet. But for now, a hung assembly is predicted and a final decision will be known when the entire counting ends.
