Kerala Tourism's Facebook Page has earned 1.5 Million likes and has emerged as the topmost FB page of 2017. Kerala which is enriched with backwaters, Virgin beaches, etc has officially been ranked No.1 in Facebook pages in 2017.
This ranking was done by Facebook based on total engagement with tourists that included reactions, shares, and comments on the page between the January 1st and December 31, 2017. Facebook released the complete data of Top-ranked FB pages of all Government related pages and Political parties in India.
Kadakampally Surendran who is the Tourism Minister in Kerala congratulated everyone on this rare achievement. The Tourism Secretary, Rani George said, "Kerala Tourism has been able to successfully convey the reasons as to why Kerala is a destination that should be on every traveler's itinerary."
