A Dutch citizen has registered his gender as 'Neutral' at the Roermond’s Limburg District Court. The Dutch citizen won the case after he registered the case as he wished to register neither as a male nor a female. Even though the judges urge the lawmakers to recognize him as 'Third gender' he was persistent to take over it as 'Neutral'.

The judges added that due to 'social and legal developments, the time is ripe for the recognition of a third gender. (Photo: Pixabay)

The Judges who said the verdict told, "The person was born in 1961 and his gender couldn't be determined by his parents. The female gender also never fit the person as his personality is neither like a man nor a woman. So his gender is considered as Neutral."

The judges also asked the authorities to include a third gender as 'Neutral' in the birth register. Earlier, a request was made by a person in 2007 at the Netherlands' highest court and it was turned down. But Judges have now accepted and they said the time is now ripe for the recognition of the third gender.
