The Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) has decided that Dileep can be back as no procedures were followed for his expulsion. Dileep was expelled from the body last year as he was one of the prime accused in the rape and abduction of Actress Bhavana.
Many senior artists spoke in favor of Dileep's inclusion in the body and AMMA said it will be Dileep who has to take the call on his return to the film body. The meeting between AMMA officials took place in Kochi presided over by Mohanlal who took charge as the President of AMMA yesterday.
The Office bearers said no procedures were followed while expelling Dileep and many of them including women members also supported to reinstate Dileep. Actor Siddique said that Dileep could have approached the court against his expulsion. But he didn't did it. If he moved legally against his expulsion, the story would have been different.
