Accused Major Nikhil Handa had first seen Shailza on Facebook in 2015 and he got 'obsessed' with her. According to Police officials, Major Nikhil Handa saw Shailza Dwivedi's Photo on Mutual friend's timeline and he sent a request to connect with her.
After she accepted, he befriended her husband, Major Amit Dwivedi to get in touch with her. Major Handa then slowly became a regular visitor at the Dwivedi's place in Nagaland and that even led to the affair.
The affair blossomed and Nikhil Handa who is already married expressed his desire to marry Shailza, but she refused. The relation between Handa and Amit turned sour after a video call clip reached Amit Dwivedi. CCTV footage has exposed Handa now as he was seen in Shailza's house.
