It has been revealed that third-party app developers are able to read emails of Gmail users, who scan the inboxes of Gmail users to offer shopping price analysis,  travel planning strategies and many services. With 1.4 billion users, Gmail has more users than many email services combined.

As per the report, Google does not control the third-party developers, but Google says, they provide data to vetted developers and for those the users have granted mail access. Data collectors scan millions of messages to find about consumers so that they can sell products and do business. Google has recently launched features in Gmail for easy navigation navigate and also improved security and privacy features. A new search option has been introduced, to help find settings and information needed from the account.
