Minister RP Udhayakumar has said that the mukkombu dam had broken due to many people keeping an eye on it, calling it a drishti . Due to the force of the waters from Cauvery river, the openings of Mukkombu dam had got damaged. The public works department officials are looking into the issue and are trying to fix the dam as early as possible, In such a situation, a government welfare scheme event was held in Virudhunagar.
When Minister RP Udhayakumar spoke inthe event , he said people who said corrupt people must resign from their roles, have been rolemodels , adding that people like Rajnikanth must come to politics after analyzing the pulse of people. He went on to say that the dristi caused due to many keeping an eye on Mukkombu was the reason behind it breaking.
